If you purchase a firearm from another seller, it can be shipped to Texas Defense Craft LLC for transfer in accordance with federal and state requirements. We coordinate receipt, documentation, background check processing, and final pickup scheduling.

Shipment to Dealer
Have the firearm shipped only to our licensed location. The sending dealer or seller must follow all applicable shipping and identification requirements.

Pickup Appointment
At pickup, you will complete the required paperwork and background check process. Transfers are released only when all legal requirements are satisfied.

Can any seller ship a firearm for transfer?
Shipment requirements depend on the type of firearm and the seller. We are n FFL with an SOT so we can receive and handle NFA items. We recommend confirming details with us in advance so the shipment is handled properly.
When can I pick up my firearm?
Pickup is available after the firearm has been received, logged, and all required paperwork and background check steps have been completed. We will contact you when the item is ready and set up an appointment that fits your schedule
What should I bring to pickup?
Bring valid Texas ID or Driver’s License and your License to Carry if you have it.
Are all transfers approved automatically?
No. All transfers must comply with applicable federal and state law, and release depends on successful completion of the required process.
Current fees or timing?
Firearm transfers are $20.00 per firearm and typically are completed in as little as 15 minutes.
NFA items are $60 per item and once the form 4 is submitted the wait time for ATF approval is typically less than 2 weeks.
